got the new lucky september issue, and spotted a cushion by uk based designer abigail borg and reminded of how much i love her work and particularly this floral print. it’s wonderful to see her expanding her line and doing so well!

one of this fall’s main sources of inspiration is the equestrian world with a focus on horses, hunt colors, leathers, saddles and bridles. i was born during the year of the horse on the chinese calendar, and the passion has followed me my entire life with the horse always being my absolute favorite animal.

just received this newsletter update from tracy anderson about a stunning new health-minded store in sag harbor called wellnest. located in a former ship captain’s house, the building has been redone, keeping all its weathered charm to become a community health resource. they are also stocking juices from organic avenue, which in my opinion makes the best fresh juices. cannot wait to see this in person next time i visit the hamptons.

i spend more time sitting at my desk in front of a computer then i would like to admit. my workspace is desperately needing a grown-up makeover, and if money was of no concern, here are some of my dream picks.

of the many things that get me through the week, ginger is high up on the list. my 2 favorite ginger treats are bruce cost’s ginger ale, and brooklyn made ginger syrup by morris kitchen. the ginger syrup can be used to make your own ginger ale or any recipes you fancy.
